On behalf of the organizing committee, we would like to welcome you at the Chemistry for a Sustainable Future Conference that will be held at the Schulich Faculty of Chemistry of the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa, from May 9 to May 11 2023.
This new conference, postponed by almost 3 years due to the pandemic, brings together a balanced variety of early, mid, and advanced career scientists from Israel and abroad whose research activities share one common motif: proving that Chemistry is key for assuring a sustainable future to human society.
The very fruitful “Single Session Conference” format will be applied for fostering discussion among participants. Young scientists, particularly so graduate students and postdoctoral fellows, are strongly encouraged to attend and take advantage of this excellent opportunity to meet prestigious speakers who will cover an exceptionally broad range of topics at the frontiers of chemical research.
The main campus of the Technion is situated on the slopes of Mount Carmel and along the stunning beaches of the Mediterranean Sea in Haifa. Established in 1924 and with three active Nobel Prize Laureates in Chemistry, the Technion is a premier research institution in our “Start-Up Nation”.
I am looking forward meeting you all, to enjoy fascinating science lectures and the warm and friendly atmosphere of Haifa, as well as that of the charming and vibrate Technion campus in Sarona – Tel Aviv on the last day of the conference.
Sincerely, Zeev Gross
